In the first decade of this century, NewStories and The Berkana Institute worked close with people and communities throughout the world and primarily in the Global South to discern and articulate core principles for life-affirming leadership. By that we mean leadership that draws its lessons from how life organizes itself. Long before the increasing and important popularization of the frameworks which emphasize transformation of community through regenerative practices over extractive ones, we worked to identify the core principles which help us build healthy and resilient community together.
